Hotel Hermitage

This contemporary hotel is conveniently situated in a recently renovated historical canal building dating back from 1733. Hotel Hermitage is ideally located within a short walking distance from the historic city centre of Amsterdam and the famous Rembrandt Square, known for its exciting bars and architectural environment. You can enjoy the calm surroundings of the hotel, whether you are overlooking the beautiful historical garden or one of the oldest canals in the city.

Breakfast

Hotel Hermitage serves a fresh, extensive continental breakfast in the lounge on the ground floor; including fresh fruits, various milks, vegetables, warm rolls with several fillings such as meats and (international) cheeses. All day long you are welcome to enjoy free drinks at the breakfast room.

Breakfast is being served from 7:30 till 11:30 (weekdays) and from 7:30 till 11:00 (weekends)

A surcharge of €7 is applied per breakfast per person.

You can choose to include the breakfast in your reservation or to arrange it upon your arrival at the hotel.

Parking

Paid Parking is possible near the hotel.

The hotel does not have private parking spaces for the guests. Parking on the street will cost you approximately 4 Euro per hour.

If you would like to park somewhere cheaper - please check P+R (Park and Ride) in Amsterdam. It costs only 8 Euro per day. They also provide you a return ticket for 2 people by public transport.

The hotel reception is open 24/7. Your luggage can be stored in the hotel in case or an early arrival.

Check-in time is after 3 p.m.
Check-out time is at 11 a.m.

Payment

The hotel accepts Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Maestro and Cash. The rates are per room, per night excluding 5 % tourist tax. For credit card payments a surcharge of 4% is added to the reservation price.

The Hotel will pre-authorize your creditcard 7 days prior the arrival.

Please note that an authorization is not a payment, but a reserved amount for the hotel. This amount is not debited and acts as a guarantee for both parties. An authorization will last for approximately three weeks after which it will be automatically released. To settle the payment with the provided credit card it is important that the card is shown at the check-in.

If authorisation is declined the guest will be informed by email, if no reply has been given within 24 hours the reservation will be cancelled.

For the use of someone else’s credit card, we require:
  • A written authorization, allowing the ITC-Hotel to debit his or her credit card for the hotel/room charges.
  • A clear copy of both sides of the actual valid card with full name of cardholder, number and expiry date.
  • And a clear copy of a valid and signed identification document.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation: You can change or cancel this deal free of charge not less than 96 hours before your Check-in date. Please take into account that the Check-in date starts at 00:00 (UTC/GMT+01:00). When you cancel after the free cancellation period or in case of a no-show, you will be charged 100% of the total booking price.

A different Cancellation Policy may apply in case of Group Bookings or if the Room Description states differently.

Reservations made for dates between (and including) April 29th and May 1st, September 8th and September 16th or December 26th and January 3rd cannot be cancelled or changed. The hotel will charge your credit card with the total amount of your booking immediately after confirmation. This amount is non-refundable.

For credit card payments a surcharge of 4% is added to your hotel account.
